Export or delete your data

Export your data

There are several ways to take your data with you:

  • QR code images — download each code as PNG or SVG. See Download and print.
  • Analytics — on the Pro, Agency and Enterprise plans, export daily scan statistics as a CSV file from the Analytics page with Export CSV. See Scan analytics explained.
  • Trail routes — download a trail's stops as a GPX file with Download GPX route in Trails.
  • Invoices — open them in Subscription → Invoices.

A full copy of your personal data. You have the right to receive a copy of the personal data we hold about you. Write to support@qrforge.link from the email address of your account. We reply within 30 days.

Delete your account

Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone.

What is deleted

  • All QR codes and projects
  • All landing pages and trails
  • Your saved QR styles and the feature requests you sent us
  • All your analytics, everywhere: individual scan records and daily totals, including the copies in our analytics warehouse. Those copies are deleted within a few hours, and normally within 2 days at the latest.
  • Your custom domains are released
  • Active subscriptions are cancelled immediately

If you connected Google Analytics 4, the scan events already sent to your GA4 property are not deleted. They are in your own Google account. Delete them there if you need to.

All your printed QR codes stop working. People who scan them see a page saying "This code doesn't lead anywhere".

Copies in our backups are not edited. They expire on their own within 56 days. See Data retention.

Before you delete

  1. Download any QR code images or analytics you want to keep.
  2. If you use custom domains, plan to remove their DNS records at your DNS provider afterwards.
  3. Think about printed material that is still in use. If you only want to stop paying, you can cancel your subscription instead. See Subscription, upgrade and cancel.

Delete step by step

  1. In the left menu, click Settings.
  2. Click Delete account.
  3. Read the list of what will be deleted.
  4. Click Send confirmation email.
  5. Open the email from QRForge and click the confirmation link. The link works for 1 hour.
  6. You see "Deleting your account…" and then Account deleted.

You receive an email confirming the deletion.

If you did not ask to delete your account and receive a confirmation email, you can safely ignore it. Nothing happens unless the link is clicked. Consider changing your password. See Sign-in security.

When a free trial ends without a plan

If your free trial ends and you do not subscribe, your account is deleted automatically. You do not need to do anything.

  • When the trial ends, your QR codes, landing pages and trails stop working, and you can no longer edit them. Wi-Fi QR codes set to connect phones to the network directly keep working.
  • We email you the deletion date, and a reminder about 2 days before it.
  • No earlier than 7 days after the trial ends (and after that email), the account and everything listed in What is deleted are deleted.
  • To keep everything, subscribe before that date. To delete the account sooner, click Delete account on the "Your free trial has ended" screen.

See Plans and what's included.

Delete only some data

Single QR codes and projects cannot be deleted in the app. If you need specific data removed, contact support.
