Switch projects

QRForge works in one project at a time. The name of the current project is shown at the top of the left menu, next to a folder icon. My QRs, Create QR Code, Trails and Analytics all show and use this project.

Switch to another project​

  1. At the top of the left menu, click the project name. The Projects window opens.
  2. You see up to five projects: the ones you used most recently, then your newest ones. Your Default Project is marked Default.
  3. Click the project you want.

The window closes and the app now shows the new project.

Find a project that is not in the list​

  1. Open the Projects window.
  2. Type part of the name in Search projects. Capital letters and accents do not matter: cafe also finds Café.
  3. Click the project in the results.

The Search projects box appears when you have more than five active projects. With five or fewer, they are all in the list already.

You can also click See all projects to open the full project list, or go to Projects in the left menu.

Create a project from the switcher​

  1. Open the Projects window.
  2. Click Create new project.
  3. Fill in the name and click Create Project.

QRForge switches to the new project straight away.

On a phone​

  1. Tap the menu button at the top left.
  2. Tap the project name at the top of the menu.
  3. Pick a project from the list that slides up.

What QRForge remembers​

  • When you sign in again, QRForge opens the last project you used on that device.
  • The recent list is kept per device. A project you used on your laptop may not appear as "recent" on your phone. Use Search projects instead.

Switching while you edit​

If you switch projects while a landing page or trail has unsaved changes, QRForge asks first. You can keep editing, or leave and discard the changes. Save first if you want to keep them.

Troubleshooting​

"Select a project to continue" QRForge could not tell which project to use. This can happen after you archive the project you were working in. Pick a project in the window that opens.

"Couldn't load your projects." Check your internet connection and click Try again.

No projects match my search Check the spelling. The search finds active projects only. Archived projects are listed under Projects in the left menu, where you can restore them. See Archive a project.

My QR codes disappeared They are almost certainly in another project. Switch projects and check My QRs again.
